Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information used by the Strata website. It applies to the web game at www.stratamininggame.com and the legacy address strata.kitbuilderpro.com, and does not change the separate privacy practices of the iOS app.
Advertising status: live advertising is disabled in this release.
Local game information
Strata stores game progress, preferences, backup ledgers, and offline progress information in this browser. The website does not require a Strata account or send your game save to Strata Link. If you export a save, the downloaded file is handled by you and remains wherever you choose to keep or share it.
Optional Strata Link purchase verification
Availability: Strata Link and Deep Strata purchase linking are not enabled on the public website. The following sections describe the optional service prepared for a future release; it is not collecting purchase-linking information here.
If you choose Link an iPhone purchase, Strata creates a short-lived approval code and sends the browser label, a public browser key, and an opaque credential candidate to the entitlement service. After you review and approve that browser on iPhone, the service independently verifies the Deep Strata purchase with Apple and gives this browser a revocable credential and signed seven-day ownership lease. The browser keeps that authority in storage separate from its game save.
The service uses pseudonymous, protected Apple and device references; it does not store your Apple email, name, raw transaction proof, game save, ore, claims, routes, achievements, or statistics. Sign in with Apple is not used in this release. iPhone and Web progress are never synchronized.
The ownership service briefly processes the request IP address for security and abuse prevention. It stores only a keyed, pseudonymous rate or replay scope for no more than 24 hours; the raw address is excluded from Strata application logs.
Strata Link retention
Pairing sessions and device challenges expire after ten and five minutes. Active entitlement and browser records remain while linked. Revoked browsers are scheduled for deletion after 30 days, notification results after 180 days, encrypted request-replay records after 24 hours, abuse-prevention buckets at their expiry, and deletion tombstones after 31 days. When Strata Link is available, expired records are removed by a retention run scheduled at least hourly. Raw signed notifications are not stored. Strata-controlled application audit logs contain only a fixed event/result and optional random correlation ID and are kept for no more than seven days. Hosting infrastructure may process standard request metadata under its documented practices. Sensitive codes, credentials, leases, Apple identifiers, browser keys, and request bodies are excluded from Strata application logs.
Advertising information
If advertising is enabled, Google AdSense and participating ad technology providers may place and read cookies and use web beacons, local storage, IP addresses, device and browser information, approximate location, and ad interaction information. That information may be collected, used, and shared to deliver ads, measure performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and personalize advertising when your choices and applicable law allow it.

Your privacy choices
Live ads are not enabled in this release. Privacy choices lets you turn off advertising for this browser. That preference is stored separately from your game save; clearing browser data clears it too. When advertising is enabled, the same page provides Google's consent and Do Not Sell or Share controls. Unknown, refused, or withdrawn permission keeps ads off. Strata also disables ads when this browser sends Global Privacy Control. These choices never change your game progress.

Deleting local game information
Use Settings → Reset all local progress to remove the two local gameplay lanes and their browser backups. That game reset intentionally preserves a Strata Link credential. Use Remove link from this browser to remove that local credential without erasing either save. You can revoke an approved browser or delete the pseudonymous link association from the iPhone app; deletion does not refund Apple or erase local saves. Browser controls can clear all site data. Clearing site data may remove progress and the local link, so export a save first if you want to retain a portable gameplay copy.
Audience
Strata is a general-audience game and is not specifically directed to children under 13. Strata does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal information through the website may contact kitbuilderpro@gmail.com so it can be addressed.
